Fencing around boundaries or properties is used for many reasons: to make the property more secure, to mark its boundaries, to keep people out where they are not wanted. One of the main reasons why it is a secure option is because it will act as a deterrent – tall, strong, sturdy fencing will make people think that it isn’t worth the effort to try and gain access. They may be afraid of hurting themselves while trying to climb over the fence, or they may feel that it simple isn’t worth their effort because it is too high risk. Whatever it might be, fencing can work really well as a deterrent. There are two main types of fencing that will deter people trying to gain access:
- Steel palisade fencing. This option has no foot holds and is a very good security option.
- Mesh fencing. This is a very strong and robust type of fencing that offers a good level of security.
